Anne2Snakie's Erotic Snake Swallowings

Women Swallowed Alive By Snakes

This Album, By This Band, Makes Me Cry A River Every Time

The band is LudoΒ and the album name is Broken BrideΒ and it came out in 2005. It’s an EP, 28 minutes, and it’s a concept album- tells a story from beginning to end. One reader on a website http://www.songmeanings.net summarized it perfectly with the words:

Part 1, Broken Bride- The Traveler has been struggling for fifteen years to build a time machine, and finally comes to the night when he will attempt to use it to save his dead wife – who died in a car crash in 1989. It malfunctions, and he is sent to prehistoric times. He is attacked by dinosaurs and retreats safely inside a cave.
Save our City- Meanwhile, after the Travelers departure, humanity is assaulted by zombies, King Simius (a kind of anti-Christ) and the imminent end of the world.
Part 2, Tonight’s the Night- The Traveler has been trapped in his cave and basically chances the raptors and makes an attempt to get to his machine and try to save his wife once more.
Part 3, The Lamb and the Dragon- Barely escaping the predators, The Traveler starts the machine and once again it malfunctions, sending him all the way to the apocalypse – which had started in “Save our city”. King Simius summons (an assumption on my part) The Dragon, which unleashes destruction upon the last of humanity. The Traveler, witnessing the awful events around him, makes a decision to sacrifice his time machine to save the world, and uses “his own dragon” to zap the Beast to another time – destroying the machine in the process. The Traveler is then visited by some kind of celestial beings (angels or the like), who are confused at his broken heart. He tells them of his sorrow at not being able to prevent his wife’s death in the end. In payment of saving humanity, the celestials send him back to May, 1989, the last morning he spent with her…
Part 4, Morning in May- The Traveler finally sees his sleeping wife again after all of his effort and strife, and lies down with her. Soon though, she readies herself and leaves for her fateful car ride. Terrified that her fate will only repeat itself, he stops her from leaving at the last moment and gets in the car with her. Like before, the accident happens, and the Traveler dies with his wife.
Thus, concluding what is likely the best album written in the history of music.

It sounds simplistic and it is. It’s a little confusing when it gets to all the apocalyptic stuff. But part 1, part 2, and part 4 are clear and sad enough that I cannot stop crying when I listen to it (as I am crying now while typing this). I’m sure a lot of my feelings are tied in with my situation with Rudy and how he’s in a constant slow slide into death, and the constant crashes he has- like this last one where by rights he should have died AGAIN (25th time he should have died by rights since we got married? 29th? I’ve lost count).

I doubt it’s healthy for me to listen to this album.

You’ll Have To Go All Wikipedia For This Post

First you have to read the post on and understand the concept of Melodic Death metal. See, normally I despise the genre of heavy metal and most of it’s sub-genres. Strangely, however, it seems I do like MDM.

And see, too, on Adult Swim, they have a show called “Metalocalypse“. About the fictional Melodic Death Metal group Dethklok.

Dethklok fuckin’ Β rokz ballz. If they were real people, I’d fuck them πŸ™‚ Even being married.

Pavane For A Dead Princess

As done by Isao Tomita, in a 1979 album, “The Ravel Album”. It could well be that the music was done by Ravel πŸ™‚ . Tomita did music, mostly classical, using synthesizers and the like. Very good music- if you like classical and electronic, check him out. (p.s. If you DO like classical, really, check out Franz Schubert’s ‘Trio In E Flat.” Oh my gosh. It’s beautiful. Music to fuck by. Slow and beautiful.)

Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that I am WORKING ON MY STORY! Offline, amazingly πŸ™‚ Using openoffice, the Oxygen Professional version. About halfway done, and soon I will be finished! MUHAHAHAHA.

Ahem.

Anyways, just wanted to check in. My RLS is still bad, but I can usually sit for a while until the evening. I’m a night owl, but these days I have to go to bed about 9 or 10. I can’t stand up because my back hurts too much and my legs always ACHE, and then standing makes them hurt worse… and I can’t sit, because my RLS won’t let me. So I have to stretch and work my calves as much as I can (my calves are so flexible and strong now it’s fucking ridiculous) and then go to bed.

Sigh.

Split Your Lungs With Blood And Thunder

Well, that title is a lyric from a song, but all of the other dark topic titles I create on my own.

Get the music from the group Balthrop, Alabama.Β  They rule. They sound very folk-musicy and yet somehow they are not.

God loves my country more than He loves yours, and he wants you to die πŸ™‚

I listen to a ton of different music. I like music a ton. I listen to classical (Franz Schubert’s Trio In E Flat a particular favorite), punk (The Sex Pistols an early fave), older Pop (Bananarama, Funboy Three), indie/grunge (never liked Nirvana, to be honest, but I liked Soundgarden’s Black Hole Sun a LOT- does that make me a sell-out?), metal (a little Black Sabbath, a little Def Leppard, a little Slade), odd (Devo, et al)… well, you get the point. I could continue ALL DAY and still not be able to finish listing everyone I listen to.

But what I was getting to, was that a lot of what I listen to can be classified as Difficult Music. I enjoy it- music you have to work at to enjoy. I find it pleasurable because, like most things, the the things you work at to achieve are the most pleasurable when you do achieve. To be sure, most Difficult Music is crapola and there is nothing once you get past the shell of Difficult. But that’s true of everything- 90% of everything is crap (Sturgeon’s Law).

The nut inside the shell of today’s post: Difficult Music can be very tiring to listen to. There are actual scientific reasons for this, having to do with the pattern seeking of the human brain, the dynamic range of the human ear and theΒ  brain’s interpretation of such, etc etc etc. Add to this the fact that most Difficult Music requires that you actually pay attention to it to actually “get it”, rather than ‘fire and forget’ while it plays in the background’. Anyway, this can be summed down to the sentence: Difficult Music is tiring because it is Difficult Listening.

What a lot of words for such a simple concept. But then, I’m like this is real life too- I never use one word when I can use 17 instead πŸ™‚

ZOMBIE GIRL!

I listen to a fair amount of music, though Rudy’s more into TV and less into music… When he does listen to music, it’s more of the old Classic SOft Rock stations and the like. Myself, I listen to a BUSLOAD of different types of music… For a while I was really into late fifties early sixties (before psychodelia) music. I STILL like the pschodelia of the late sixties/early seventies. I like the fringe stuff of the eighties with a smattering of more mainstream, and of the nineties… Well, a little bit. I listen to some of the mainstream oughts, but mostly side stuff.

WhichΒ leadsΒ meΒ toΒ ZombieΒ GirlΒ πŸ™‚Β Β Technically elecronic, but also industiral, metal, etc etc etc. Horror rock πŸ™‚ Not Goth, though I enjoy some of that genre as well.

ListenΒ toΒ them!Β BuyΒ theΒ CD’s!Β AdoreΒ them!Β IΒ adoreΒ theΒ leadΒ singer.Β She’sΒ smokingΒ (bloody)Β hotΒ πŸ™‚

Here Is Something I Never Thought I Would Do

And that is to recommend a music download service. A LEGAL music download service, FREE… with DRM’d music.

Wait! Come back!

WWW.SpiralFrog.comΒ lets you download free music, and yeah, it is, to a large degree, fairly modern modern so it’s not like it’s heavy on classics, or what we old-timers call “talent”… but there are some good groups, and it is Free with DRM.

To explain- To make it free, the music is ad-supported- at the SITE. So when you download the music, it’s good for 30 days. Before that time runs out, you have to go back to the site and renew the music. If you don’t, at the end of 60 days the music files stop. And there’s something in the files, like with iTunes and similar, that limits the numbers of players you can transfer it to.

So yeah, the restrictions suck and the BIGGEST yeah is that if spiralfrog fails, all your downloaded music dies.

On the other hand, they are TRYING. And there are deff WORSE ways to do it. Better ways too- WWW.Emusic.com has ZERO DRM on their music, and they sell tracks. So I dunno what the actual answer is.

Unless it involves women being eaten by snakes. Duh πŸ™‚

Musica

Periodically I get into Mash-Ups. I liked Dangermouse’s Grey Album (the acapella Black Album by Jay-z mixed with the music sans vocals of the White Album by the Beatles). I like some of the random songs I run across with the vocals from one song remixed to the music of another.

Is it a new and valid art form? I vacillate. Sometimes I believe quite strongly that the new work is a true and valid new work of art; sometimes I disagree with that stance almost to the point of near-violence.

But I DID run across Cracked Pepper (which is a totally remixed Sgt. Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band). Oh my GOD they did a WONDERFUL job. Some of the songs were like being on LSD again! I swear, it reminded me so much… Gods, I miss LSD.

Anyways πŸ™‚ Now that I am back on a mash-ups kick again, I’ve been hunting down mash-ups like mad. Search for Dean Grey for a Green Day remix album πŸ™‚

Love y’all!
